Fatigue is a common symptom of andropause. Fatigue is defined as when you feel tired or exhausted over an extended period of time. Decreased productivity may be seen at work, a decreased motivation to exercise may occur as well as depression. Lower testosterone levels may cause the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. The cycle of decreased energy during the day and decreased ability to sleep can lead to irritability and depression. Properly balanced hormone levels can lessen or completely alleviate many of the symptoms of andropause, including fatigue.
